Anne Towne, President of Towne Group, is a familiar presence in the D.C. region’s not-for-profit and healthcare communities. An area resident since 1975, her life’s work has centered on serving organizations that serve others. An expert administrator, Anne has worked in turn as Executive Director of Hospice Care of D.C. and of the Alzheimers Association of Greater Washington. Most recently, she was Executive Director of the Association of Community Services Organizations of Howard County, Maryland, a position she held from 2001 until her retirement in 2011. Today Anne oversees the operations of both Towne Group divisions, and provides direct consulting services to our clients in the areas of organizational strategy, corporate culture, fundraising, training, and administration. |

Charles Towne, Towne Group’s Senior Vice President and a twenty-five year veteran of the Washington TV news community, leads our “Awards” award-winning media strategy and production division Charlie previously served as Group W Television’s Washington Bureau Chief for the Station Group, as well as Executive Producer for the group’s syndicated news service. He also managed news and operations for CONUS, the pioneering company in satellite TV technology, where his team provided content services to more than one hundred stations, networks, cable channels and syndicated programs. Today, among other responsibilities, Charlie spearheads Towne Group’s video strategy and production services for the Department of Defense and the Pentagon Channel. His unique combination of editorial, technical, and business skills makes him an invaluable asset on our senior team. |

Maggie Dore, Senior Producer, is a three-time Emmy award-winning television news producer. She has years of experience in every facet of television production: producing news programs, daily news stories, interview segments, and in-depth segments for prime time programs. Maggie has worked with network news operations including Fox News Channel and NBC News, and with local television stations in several major markets. Maggie has traveled the world to cover news events. Among them: the Pope’s historic visit to Cuba, presidential elections in Mexico, and the funeral of Princess Diana in London. Maggie’s media training clients include the American Gas Association, and she does consulting for clients like the Center for Public Integrity, a Washington-based consortium of investigative reporters. Maggie has produced custom videos on a variety of topics for Medicare, Head Start and the American Bar Association. Among other professional honors, Maggie was a Journalism Fellow at the University of Southern California, and she lectures journalism students at Georgetown University and George Mason University. |
