Towne Group Media provides the editorial, creative and production staffs that are the backbone of the Pentagon Channel, developing and producing award-winning broadcast programming and streaming media. Among the highlights of our contributions to the channel’s success:
News: we staff the operation that produces daily newscasts, hourly news updates, specials and documentaries. Our team, for instance, is responsible for two daily half-hour newscasts simulcast on the Discovery Network’s Military Channel, top of the hour news updates, an award winning monthly documentary program “RECON”, and news specials.
Creative Services: our team is responsible for long-form lifestyle programming, sports, and entertainment specials. For example, we produce lifestyle programs that include the Grill Sergeants, Fit for Duty, FNG (For the New Guy), Close Combat and Command Performance.
PSA Production: the Towne Group Media team creates high-impact Public Service Announcements to support the DoD command’s strategic priorities.
Events Coverage: we are responsible for on-location specials from military competitions nationwide, including the Warrior Games and the Armed Forces Boxing Championship.
Technical Operations: we supply the expert crew that manages all incoming and outgoing signals in a new state-of-the-art facility at Ft. Meade, MD.
